The FI-3A Optical Fiber Identifier is a cost-effective handheld tester designed to detect optical signals without disrupting the live signal. It is used during maintenance, installation, re-routing or restoration when isolating a specific fiber is necessary. By clamping the FI-3A onto a fiber, any live signal or traffic and signal direction can be detected.
